How to Play Veggie Patrol
A farm runner game where you splash away the bugs that are after your veggies.
The basics
- The girl and her crew of little farmers run forward and fire their water guns automatically.
- All you do is move left and right. On a phone, slide your finger across the screen. On a computer, drag with the mouse or use the ← → keys (or A and D).
- The bigger your crew, the stronger your water.
- Bumping into bugs costs you crew members. If your crew drops to zero, it's game over.
- Beat the boss bug at the end of the course to clear the stage.
Gate types
Gates appear in pairs. Look carefully and choose which one to run through.

| Water power | Makes your water hit harder. |
| Speed | Makes you fire faster. |
| Coins × | Multiplies the coins you earn this stage (up to 3×). |
| Crew − | Red gates take crew away, either by subtracting (−) or dividing (÷). Avoid them when you can. |
Ways to get stronger
🧺 Break crates to upgrade your weapon
Each stage has three crates. Splash one open and your weapon upgrades: Double Splash, then Machine Gun, then Hyper Shower. Upgrades last until the end of the stage.
🌱 Clear weeds to recruit crew
Every weed you knock down adds one crew member as a reward.
💦 Build combos for more water pressure
Defeat bugs and weeds in a row to build a combo. At 10, 25 and 50 hits your water pressure levels up and your shots get stronger. Bumping into a bug resets the combo, so keep dodging!
⭐ Beat the mini-boss for Super Water
Defeating the mini-boss halfway through the course gives you Super Water for a while, which doubles your damage. You can also get it by picking up a Super Water item on the road.
🪙 Collect coins
You earn coins by defeating bugs and picking up coins and coin bags. Beating the mini-boss and boss and clearing the stage give you bonus coins, and later stages pay more.
Boss bugs
There are four bosses, and they take turns from stage to stage.
| Bug King | The classic boss that marches straight at you. Keep your water on it. |

| Ladybug Queen | Calls in little bugs to help. Dodge left and right while you fight. |
| Queen Bee | Sways from side to side. Follow her movement to keep your shots landing. |
| Caterpillar King | Charges forward every few seconds. When you see "Caterpillar charge!", make sure you still have plenty of crew left. |
Power up in the shop
Spend your saved coins on permanent upgrades. Stuck on a stage? Visit the shop before you try again.

Tips for clearing stages
- Grow your crew early. More crew means stronger water for the rest of the run.
- Avoid red gates, especially "÷", which can cut your crew a lot.
- Don't miss the crates. A stronger weapon makes the boss fight much easier.
- Sidestep bug swarms. It's safer to hit them from slightly off to the side than head-on.
- Stuck? Farm coins on an earlier stage. Use ◀ ▶ on the title screen to pick any stage you've cleared.
